Celebrate Women & Girls In Golf

A family-friendly event that Celebrates female golfers and empowers young females to learn the game of golf. The event is held at Canterwood Golf & Country Club and includes a professional golf demonstration by members of the UW Women’s Golf Team, and keynote by a celebrity Head Coach, Mary Lou Mulflur.

Adults & children will enjoy an exciting LPGA golf demonstration together. After the demonstration, adults will attend the program and children ages 5-15 are provided a free First Tee golf lesson and dinner, in a supervised area led by First Tee Coaches.

During the program, one local accomplished female adult that exudes the inherent values of golf will be honored with the CELEBRATE Award, based upon community nominations. One First Tee female youth who best represents The First Tee Nine Core Values will be selected by The First Tee Coaches and honored at the event.

Event Chair is First Tee Board Member, Linda Chen, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital President and former LPGA Tour Player.
